Abstract: Experimental results are presented of a generation of gigawatt-microwave pulse by current modulation of a relativistic electron beam (REB) after being passed through a cavity structure. A high-power transmitter has been developed of a power of \sim\1GW and a frequency of 500 MHz. A simple model of a parallel LC resonance circuit is introduced for the cavity. Reasonable agreement is obtained between the experimental data and the model estimate above.
